Dr. JoAnne Dornfeld-Januzzi is the Director of the
Pleasantville Learning Center, and a current middle
school principal. Dr. Dornfeld-Januzzi has worked in
the field of education for over 25 years. She received
her bachelor's and master's degrees at Hofstra
University in Psychology, Elementary Education, and
Special Education, respectively. She obtained her
Professional Diploma in Educational Administration and Supervision, and
her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fordham University. She
began her career as a special education teacher in the Bellmore-Merrick
Central School District. She served as an Assistant Principal at Westlake
Middle School in Thornwood, and the principal of Tuckahoe High School,
in Eastchester.
